    Therapy for Health Habit Change

“Habits are the invisible architecture of daily life. We repeat about 40 percent of our behavior almost daily, so our habits shape our existence, and our future. If we change our habits, we change our lives.”

    – Gretchen Rubin, Better than Before: Mastering the Habits of Our Everyday Lives

Habits can be harmless – such as a morning routine of drinking coffee and reading the newspaper.

Habits can be helpful – such as regular physical activity, good sleep hygiene, or cooking and eating healthy meals.

However, many habits are harmful, both physically and psychologically.

Here are some habits – among many others – that I can help you tackle:

    • Drinking too much
    • Smoking
    • Poor sleep habits
    • Procrastination and time management problems

If you’ve been contemplating changes to improve your heath and well-being, I can help.

Together, we will work to help you identify places you may be getting stuck with respect to less healthy habits and redirect your time and energies to more healthful, mindful choices.
